Walleye Fishing Report, Outstanding Walleye Fishing Expected This Season
Dan Kimmel has over 45 years of fishing experience throughout the Great Lakes states and Ontario, along with many states east of Arkansas. He’s been fortunate to fish a few more exotic locations in Central and South America too. His fishing experience includes almost 30 years of competitive fishing with 25 bass tournament victories and an appearance in the 2001 BFL All-American national championship.
Though Dan spends much of his time chasing bass, he’s never met a fish he didn’t like, making his home in Michigan an ideal base for multi-species adventures. When not gone fishing, Dan works in outdoor writing, photography and public speaking, and runs his primary website – GreatLakesBass.com. He also stays active in conservation issues. In 1990, the MUCC gave Dan a Special Conservation Award for work his work on CSO legislation.
