United States Army Marksmanship Unit Shotgun Demonstration at ACUI Clay Target Championships

On March 30, just before the award ceremony for International Trap, the crowd at the ACUI Clay Target Championships was in for a treat.

United States Army Marksmanship Unit members Staff Sgt. Josh Richmond, just off the plane from the ISSF Shotgun World Cup in Tucson, Arizona, and Staff Sgt. Mark Weeks paid the championships a visit and put on a jaw dropping demonstration of their skills with a shotgun.

The USAMU shooters joked with the crowd as they performed shots requiring incredible accuracy, shooting multiple targets in quick succession and from unordinary positions. Holding the gun upside down, between the legs, over the head and shooting with their thumb were just some of the creative ways the two shooters turned clays into clouds of dust.
