These quick, moist, delicious biscuits are the perfect accompaniment to any outdoor meal and are one of the first items I learned to prepare as a bride.
- 1 cup self-rising flour or Bisquick or Pioneer Biscuit Mix
- 1/2-cup milk
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise, preferably Hellmann’s
- 1/2-cup shredded cheddar cheese
Mix first three ingredients with fork, being careful not to overbeat. Then add cheese, and mix lightly. Bake immediately at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. This recipe doubles and triples well.
