If you’re fortunate enough to live close to where you can buy fresh shrimp at the coast or at some of the fine seafood markets, everyone likes this shrimp dish that you can serve as an appetizer or as a main course.
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup margarine, melted
- 1/2-cup Dale’s Steak Sauce (www.dalesseasoning.com) or Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/4-cup lemon juice
- 1/4-cup ground black pepper
- 2 teaspoons hot sauce
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 5 pounds medium shrimp, unpeeled
- 2 lemons, thinly sliced
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine the first 8 ingredients. Pour one-half of the mixture in a large glass baking dish. Lay the shrimp and lemon slices in the sauce, and pour the remaining sauce over the layers. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes or until the shrimp are pink. Stir mixture twice while baking to assure even cooking.
