How to Clean A Pheasant in Less than a Minute

Cooking Tips

by Outdoor Hub Fans on July 5, 2011

If you don’t know what you are doing, cleaning a pheasant can be a real pain the butt. But, if you do it my way it can be really easy.

Grab the pheasant by its legs and hold it upside down and facing you. Then place the bird low enough to the ground that you can stand on the base of both wings. Then pull with an even force, but do it slowly; if you try fast it will not work. If you do this properly it will turn the birds skin inside out.

You may also try this with any fowl of the same size.

This will save you a lot of time and mess.
