How To Make Your Own Rattling Bag

Hunting Tips

by Outdoor Hub Fans on June 29, 2011

A rattling bag is a great hunting tool but a good new one can cost you twenty bucks. Here’s a way I found how to make my own.

To make it, find some old dead Cedar and cut 6 each one inch square pieces 6 inches long, then cut on a band saw each corner off so they will roll against each other in bag. Sew a bag that will hold these 6 pieces and sew a opening around the top of bag for string to be slipped through. This has the same sound as some of the better ones.

Take it on your next hunting trip and see just how good it works!
