Weatherby Expands the WBY-X Lineup

Weatherby is expanding its popular WBY-X lineup with several new rifle models for hunters and shooters who like the look of edgy, unconventional camouflage patterns such as Kryptek Typhon, Kryptek Highlander, Proveil-Reaper Black, and Boneyard Camo Legends Blaze.

“WBY-X seems to have struck a chord with those who like to express their individuality as hunters and shooters,” said Mike Schwiebert, Weatherby’s director of marketing. “While the look of WBY-X rifles is anything but traditional, they continue Weatherby’s long tradition of innovation and distinctive looks.”

WBY-X rifles come in a broad range of Weatherby calibers, and are built on the Vanguard Series 2 platform. They’re guaranteed to shoot a three-shot group of one-MOA or less with Weatherby factory or premium ammunition. These rifles offer a lightweight, composite Monte Carlo stock; match quality, two-stage trigger; and three-position safety.

New WBY-X rifle models are: the Series 2 Kryptek with Kryptek Highlander pattern and 24-inch cold hammer forged barrel; Series 2 Typhon with Kryptek Typhon pattern and 24-inch cold hammer forged barrel; Series 2 Typhon TR (Threat Response) with Kryptek Typhon pattern, 22-inch No. 3 contour barrel (.740 muzzle diameter) and recessed target crown; and Series 2 Blaze with Boneyard Camo Legends Blaze pattern and 24-inch cold hammer forged barrel.
