Video: Spike Elk Nearly Walks Right into Man Filming It

The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation recently posted the following video to their Facebook page, showing an encounter with a spike elk in Idaho. In what might be the elk’s first encounter with a human, it almost bumps right into the person filming it. The young elk jumps in fright, but quickly returns to investigate the strange biped with the excellent camouflage.

As has been shown on countless occasions, the right combination of scent blocker and camo can make animals do really strange things. The video (which you will probably want to maximize to appreciate in full) was attributed to Craig Sandy, who shot the video on his cell phone.
