These Guys Mapped Every Public Hunting Area in Illinois and the Result Is Awesome

Every hunter knows how difficult it can be to find out information about (or simply find) public hunting areas. Luckily, if you’re in Illinois (or planning on traveling there to hunt this year), the guys at Engineered Pursuit have you covered.

They’ve put together a map using Google Earth that displays every single Illinois DNR Public Hunting Area, along with a link to each Area’s fact sheet. It’s a handy alternative to the alphabetical list the DNR provides on their site, making it easier to find public lands close to you based on location alone.
