Video: Herd of Piebald Deer Eating in the Woods

Piebald deer are pretty rare, but spotting an entire herd of them is almost unheard-of.

These white-and-brown-spotted deer are not quite as rare as true albinos, but this is still a pretty impressive video. It’s likely that these deer are all related and the piebald gene was passed on for a common ancestor at one point. Seeing a sight like this would be a very memorable experience for anyone.

Some states do not allow piebald and albino deer to be hunted. This is mainly due to their rarity, and, in some cases, cultural significance.

Now there’s something you don’t see everyday..
