Video: Anglers’ Boat Flies into Air after Tackling Wave

These anglers are going to need a new boat.

It should be noted that while not all boats are meant for riding waves, proper piloting will keeping you from needless risks like this one. The helmsman at this vessel either underestimated the strength of these waves or overestimated their own skill. In either event, the result was the boat shooting several feet up in the air before crashing back into the water on its side.

Hopefully nobody was injured and this only served as a painful reminder of the ocean’s power. The video was reportedly shot in South Africa’s Sodwana Bay.
