Video: Turkey Scouting Turns into an Escape from an Angry Tom

Birds are the closest living relatives to dinosaurs. That must be why this man is running away from an angry turkey like his life depended on it.

Seriously, I can picture this exact same scene taking place in a Jurassic Park movie, but instead of a tom it’s a velociraptor. The uploader of this video was out scouting before turkey season started. About 20 minutes into his endeavor a territorial tom noticed him and began to chase. At one point the turkey actually caught up to the hunter and he had to kick it off of him.

On the bright side, this hunter probably has a good idea of where he should look once the season begins.
