Video: Territorial Turkeys Harass Young Deer

Wild turkeys, while not usually territorial, can sometimes be very aggressive if an animal or person enters their space.

The Heartland Bowhunter crew filmed the impressive video below while filming in Kansas for their show. You can see the three gobblers converge on the young deer which is obviously startled it. After trying to outmaneuver the birds the deer eventually ran off and ceded control of the area to the turkeys.

This is really a sign that spring is in the air.
