Fisherman Lands Kilo of Cocaine off Miami Coastline

A fisherman in Miami landed something you won’t find on any restaurants “fresh catch of the day.”

Mark Quartiano, AKA “Mark the Shark,” and his crew were fishing off the coast of Miami about 2 miles when they hooked into something you won’t find in any fish market.

Once the crew reeled in the package, it turned out they had caught a kilo of cocaine which has a street value of almost $30,000!

Quartiano immediately contacted the U.S. Coast Guard and turned the drugs in as soon as they returned to shore. “This is the first time we’ve found some cocaine,” Quartiano said.

Quartiano said he’s found marijuana out in the sea years ago, but never cocaine.
