The Cabela’s King Kat Tournament Trail will hit the waters of  Pickwick/Wilson Lakes at Sheffield, Alabama on March 19, 2012. This is the opportunity for local catfish anglers to compete for cash, prizes and a chance to advance to the Cabela’s King Kat Classic location will be announced at a later date. Weigh-In Site

The tournament weigh-in will be held at the Sheffield Riverfront Park, at the end of Alabama Street in Sheffield. Tournament hours are 6:30 AM until 3:00 PM. All anglers must be in weigh-in line by 4:00 PM with a 5 fish limit per team.

Note: (Alabama state trophy fish laws allow 1 fish over 34 inches per angler. Teams with 3 anglers will be restricted to only 2 fish over 34 inches).  To help preserve the sport only live fish will be weighed in and all fish will be released after the tournament. Registration

• Late registration will be held the day before competition at specified location from 5-7 pm. Captains Meeting/Seminar will follow at 7pm.
• There will be no meeting, late registration or boat launch the morning of the event. Anglers will be allowed to launch on tournament water at 5am tournament morning. No fishing is allowed until 6:30am.
