Montana 2013 Female Mountain Lion Hunting to Close In Several Region 2, 3 & 4 Hunting Districts

The hunting of female mountain lions will close one-half hour after sunset on Saturday, November 2, 2013.
Close To Female Mountain Lions:
- HD 283 & 285 – which include portions of Missoula and Powell Counties.
- HD 315 – which include portions of Meagher, Park and Sweet Grass Counties.
- HD 416, 446, 449, 452 & 454 – which include portions of Broadwater, Cascade, Meagher and Judith Basin Counties.
The closure notice for the hunts came shortly after Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks officials received word that the pre-established harvest sub-quotas for the districts had been met.
These districts will re-open for the hunting of all mountain lions for the Winter Season beginning December 1, 2013 with the exception of HD 315 which will remain closed to the hunting of female mountain lion for the duration of the winter season.
