The Association of Collegiate Anglers, in collaboration with Topwater Clothing, have announced a partnership for the upcoming Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship. Students competing in the event will have an opportunity to take home a unique Topwater shirt, which commemorates the nation’s largest collegiate bass fishing event. Designed and produced exclusively for the 2012 Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship by Topwater Clothing, this unique shirt is sure to be a hit.

According to Danny Blandford, Program Director for the ACA, “We’re excited to have partnered with Topwater on this project. In a short amount of time they’ve proven they understand design, and more importantly, they understand anglers. Collectively we came up with a commemorative shirt that maintains the integrity of our brand, while adding the Topwater “flair” anglers have come to know and love. Now when they head home from the nation’s largest college bass fishing event, they can say, “Been there, done that, and got the t-shirt,” which I think they’ll love.”

The 2012 limited edition Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship t-shirt will be available for sale at the event, to anglers and fans alike, throughout the week. Although supplies of this shirt are limited, students who cannot attend the event, but that would like to have a commemorative shirt, can contact the ACA to order their own while supplies last.

Beyond the co-branded commemorative shirt, Topwater joins the Association of Collegiate Anglers as the newest Supporting Sponsor of the ACA and the associated Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship Series.

Brad Altman of Topwater Clothing went on to add, “We couldn’t be more excited than to work in collaboration with the partners on this great annual event. The collegiate anglers are an important factor of our brand. The winner of last year’s event is one of our TEAM TOPWATER members, Miles “Sonar” Burghoff. The excitement of his win gave me the same adrenaline rush as watching one of our Elite fishermen win a major Elite tournament. For me, this tournament can’t start soon enough!”
