Video: Aerial Bighorn Sheep Capture in Texas

You hear of animals being captured all the time for tagging or research purposes. Well, do you ever wonder what the actual capture actually looks like? The video below was shot by Aerowest Helicopters in partnership with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department as workers captured bighorn sheep from Elephant Mountain in Alpine, Texas.     OK, now that was neat and very nicely done. I assume they were transplanting the bighorns to start a population somewhere else? Also, were they Rocky Mountain bighorns or desert bighorns.

    No matter, a great production.
