The early bird gets the worm, but the intelligent and patient bird gets the fish. In the video below, a green heron understands that a piece of bread won’t yield as much protein as a live fish. He uses the bread given to him to expertly tempt fish to bite, while he remains in control the whole time–a little bit of natural angling!
