Video: Shooting Three Arrows in 1.5 Seconds, a Forgotten Medieval Method

Many medieval archery methods have fallen by the wayside since the rise of firearms. But one dedicated archer from Denmark, Lars Andersen, has studied traditional archery forms for three years and as the video below shows, is able to pull off some impressive feats–including shooting three arrows in 1.5 seconds and firing 11 arrows into the air before the first hits the ground. Don’t mind the robotic voice-over translation since the warrior-like mastery of the bow outweighs the machine’s awkward cadence.
