Traditions Performance Firearms, known for their extremely accurate and dependable muzzleloaders, is proud to introduce the next innovation in muzzleloading – the Vortek StrikerFire. In development since 2008, this patent-pending rifle takes in-line muzzleloaders to the next level by using an internal StrikerFire system. To cock the gun, simply slide the striker button forward until it locks and shoot! This system allows for faster locktime, the ability to mount your scope closer to the bore, and allows the gun to operate at an ultralight 6.25 lbs!
The recessed de-cocking button allows for quick and quiet de-cocking of the firearm. It is also equipped with an automatic de-cocking mechanism – when the gun is broken open it is automatically de-cocked. Traditions always puts safety first, additionally equipping this gun with a trigger block safety and striker block safety.
The Vortek StrikerFire is packed with features. This rifle has a 28” tapered, fluted Magnum Chromoly. This muzzleloader has a two-stage trigger that is set at 3 pounds, providing a crisp, clean-breaking trigger. The Stow-N-Go removable butt pad allows it to remove with the push of a button and provides convenient storage space. The StrikerFire is also equipped with a 1-piece stainless steel Accelerator Breech Plug™ that allows the firing of both loose and palletized powder without changing the breech plug.
