Beginning today the North American Fishing Club is offering fishermen an exclusive opportunity to participate in the North American Fisherman 2014 Ice Fishing Challenge presented by Frabill, Jan. 21-22, 2014.
Four lucky anglers will be selected by a random drawing in the Ice Fishing Challenge Sweepstakes, and each winner will be allowed to invite one partner of their choosing to accompany them on the all-expenses-paid-trip to beautiful Nodak Lodge & Resort on Lake Winnibigoshish, Minn.
“Thanks to Frabill, Nodak Lodge, and the other sponsors, it’s certain to be an exciting event because we’ve planned a special twist,” says NAFC Sales Development Director and Event Coordinator Pat Landry. “The eight anglers will be split into two teams of four for a friendly fishing competition—with prizes for the winning team. Plus, our video crew will be on tap to capture the whole thing for a future episode of NAF-TV.”
Anglers needn’t worry about their skill level, according to Landry, because each group will have a team leader, either NAF-TV host Eric Haataja or legendary ice fishing guide Brian Brosdahl, who will be responsible for locating fish and offering fishing tips and advice where needed.
Each $3,000 sweepstakes prize package includes travel expenses, three nights lodging, two days of fishing and food for two people, as well as a Frabill FXE Snosuit jacket and bibs, sweatshirt, hat and gloves for every participant. Plus, members of the winning fishing team each receive a top-of-the-line thermal portable fishing shelter from Frabill.
“Frabill is pleased to team up with the NAFC on the Ice Fishing Challenge. We truly see this as a unique challenge that will put to the test the skills of a few lucky ice fishermen,” says Ben Rand, the company’s Marketing Manager. “With the help of fishing experts such as Brian Brosdahl and Eric Haataja, it’s sure to make for a truly unique experience. In addition, we will have the opportunity to further the exposure of the ice fishing segment that so many of us love.”
