Trimble Selects Maschmedt & Associates as Western States Rep for its New Outdoor Mapping Products

Trimble has selected Maschmedt & Associates to work with outdoor retailers in 17 western states to sell a new retail line of off-the-grid mapping products for the outdoors market.
The new products include statewide Topo Maps on SD cards and the Trimble Outdoors Elite subscription service. Both products allow users to view topo maps, public and private land boundaries, and other helpful map layers without a cellular or data connection.
“Maschmedt brings decades of retail knowledge to the table. Their experience and relationships with retailers—both large and small—will help us grow our retail footprint, build strong merchandising programs and train retail associates on the floor,” said Kris Wagner, marketing director for Trimble Outdoors.
Based in Renton, Washington, Maschmedt & Associates will act as an independent sales representative for Trimble Outdoors’ off-the-grid mapping products in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. They will focus on specialty retail shops in addition to outdoor chain stores.
