Wisconsin Gobblers on the Menu for Sportsman Channel’s “MeatEater” this Thursday at 8 p.m. ET/PT

Steven Rinella, host of Sportsman Channel’s MeatEater, is introduced to his good friend Jerod Fink’s turkey hunting motto: “sun’s out, guns out” – and he’s not referring to biceps. Rinella and Fink are hunting giant turkeys in southeastern Wisconsin. The unforgiving elements make for a difficult hunt, but when the sun finally emerges the game is on. MeatEater airs exclusively on Sportsman Channel Thursday, August 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
During Rinella and Fink’s rain-filled and long awaited Wisconsin hunt for gobblers, the men began to realize when it rains, bad luck ensues. It isn’t until the sun makes an appearance that Rinella and Fink are able to take their guns out for a potential turkey shoot.
“I have some of the most fun when I’m turkey hunting,” admitted Rinella. “This hunt was even crazier than usual because the turkeys were strutting within just a few feet of us. Jerod put the Navy Seal sneak on some of those toms.”
