Quality

Out of the box, I thought this was an attractive pair of shoes. From the first time I put them on, sockless, nonetheless, they were comfortable. I have pretty sensitive heels and have had no problems with these shoes. Perfect for kayaking and going to the beach, when immersed in water, the water drains immediately and dries quickly. They are super light and provide great traction on wet and dry surfaces. Runs true to size. Fits well even with thin pair of socks.

Reliability

Based on their sturdy construction, I expect the Drainmakers to last multiple seasons. They have held up well through water, mud, muck, and sand. Best of all they are comfortable and do not hurt my heels, even without socks. These are my go to water shoes.

Price/Value

I believe the Drainmakers are well-priced and a good buy overall. I would definitely buy them again.

Referability

These are a great alternative to closed-toed sandals. I would recommend and purchase them for my family and friends. Considering the quality of these shoes and numerous other well-made Columbia products I have tested, I feel confident referring the Columbia brand to others.
