Columbia Sportswear Women's Master of Faster Low Shoe, 5.0 out of 5 based on 1 rating

Quality

Straight out of the box, the shoe felt light, but stiff. After the first extended wear, my heels began to hurt. I wore them several more times for short durations to break them in, and then again for longer and they felt better. I have very sensitive heels, and with it being a stiff shoe I was not surprised at my sore heels. My husband has the men’s version of this shoe and has had no problems with sore heels. This shoe provides good support and traction on trails and roads.

Reliability

The shoe is rugged and well constructed. With normal wear, I believe they will last many seasons.

Price/Value

The Master of Faster is well-priced and a good buy overall.

Referability

I think the Master of Faster is a good shoe, and I would refer it to others. I would however caution those with sensitive heels about the stiffness and the need to break in the shoe. Even though initially they hurt my heels, they became more comfortable with each subsequent wear. They provide great support and traction. Considering the quality this and other Columbia products I have tried, I would recommend the brand to others.
