The 2011/12 waterfowl season found The Birdmen television team in many different and challenging situations. When tackling the tough conditions that are synonymous with waterfowl hunting you need everything to come together for a successful hunt. Spending 60 plus days in the field during a season puts any bit of gear to the ultimate test.

This season while filming we tested many new products coming out for the next season, but one in particular came out on top: Webley & Scott! This long-time firearms manufacturer from Europe has introduced their line of over/under shotguns to the US market and we couldn’t be happier. We are very particular about our shotguns and have shot many different brands. As this season drew to a close we had extensively tested the 12 and 20 gauge models in all different sizes as well as a soon-to-be-released youth model 20 gauge with zero problems. The Birdmen

The Birdmen series represents a lifetime of chasing birds of all species and the deep lying traditions that encompass it. The Birdmen are handing down those traditions to our “future fowlers” on every hunt, taking kids from all walks of life on some hunting experiences of a lifetime. The Birdmen are teaching kids from the experienced to the first timer what it means to be a part of our great traditions of the outdoors.
