Colorado’s Stagecoach State Park Hosts Dog Sled Race

Stagecoach State Park will host a new dog sled race, sponsored by the Stagecoach Property Owner’s Association and the Colorado Mountain Mushers, on Jan. 7 and Jan. 8, 2012. Approximately 20 dog sled and skijoring teams will be racing an 8-mile or 4-mile track around the reservoir. The Knights of Columbus will be serving breakfast and lunch on Saturday and the Friends of Stagecoach State Park will serve breakfast and lunch on Sunday as fundraising events for the Friends’ group.
