Second Ammendment Foundation Welcomes New Sponsor “I Love Guns & Coffee” as 2013 Bronze Sponsor

The Second Amendment Foundation announced today that I Love Guns & Coffee has joined SAF as a 2013 Bronze Sponsor in ongoing efforts to defend the right to keep and bear arms. I Love Guns & Coffee’s support of SAF’s legal action and education programs is particularly appreciated.

SAF is at the cutting edge of preserving and restoring firearms rights with recent courtroom triumphs in Moore v. Madigan, Woollard v. Sheridan in addition to the landmark Supreme Court Decision in McDonald v. Chicago. SAF education programs include the annual Gun Rights Policy Conference, publications and new initiatives such as the Preemption Legal Project ensuring the compliance of cities and counties across the nation with state firearms laws.

“I’m pleased to welcome I Love Guns & Coffee as a sponsor of the Second Amendment Foundation. As a longtime customer of their pro-rights line of apparel and products I find their sponsorship of SAF particularly satisfying and as a member of the SAF team I am pleased to note their generous support of SAF and our efforts to protect and restore firearms rights one lawsuit at a time,” said SAF Director of Development Ray Carter.

“With the new anti-gun legislation recently passed, and on the horizon, SAF will need to take meaningful legal action in response. I Love Guns & Coffee’s support will significantly increase our effectiveness,” concluded Carter.

The Second Amendment Foundation (www.saf.org) is the nation’s oldest and largest tax-exempt education, research, publishing and legal action group focusing on the Constitutional right and heritage to privately own and possess firearms. Founded in 1974, The Foundation has grown to more than 650,000 members and supporters and conducts many programs designed to better inform the public about the consequences of gun control. In addition to the landmark McDonald v. Chicago Supreme Court Case, SAF has previously funded successful firearms-related suits against the cities of Los Angeles; New Haven, CT; New Orleans; Chicago and San Francisco on behalf of American gun owners, a lawsuit against the cities suing gun makers and numerous amicus briefs holding the Second Amendment as an individual right.
