Hunters’ Dream Hog Bustin’ Carbine Showcased in GUNS Magazine’s 2014 Special Edition

Hunters suffering from “fall fever,” would be remiss to overlook the GUNS Fall/Winter 2014 Special Edition, featuring articles on hunting hogs, varmints — even big cats — with the latest gear.

In “The Robar Empty-cases.com Hi-Power” Richard Mann, in collaboration with Robbie Barkman at Robar, customizes a practical and picturesque Browning Hi-Power — modifying multiple features to make this a fighting 9mm.
“I know, some folks think a fighting pistol’s caliber should start with a ‘4,’ and that’s fine. But I can guarantee you one thing; should the need arise, you won’t want to be a bad guy or zombie on the business end of this pistol,” Mann claims.
This special edition also includes Tim Wegner’s “Knives for the Field,” showcasing the practicality and utility of a wide array of knives, a look at the Marlin .308 Express long-range levergun, John Russo’s review of the Savage 11/111 LightWeight Hunter and an exploration of handgun hunting for bobcats and cougars.
