Buck Daze Hunt on Backwoods Life

The Backwoods Life crew is discovering the incredible whitetail hunting that South Georgia has to offer! Michael and Kevin head down to support a great education fundraiser. Buck Daze is an event that supports a local school in Damascus, Ga., Southwest Georgia Academy Parent teacher’s organization puts on an annual hunt to raise monies for the local school. For an extremely reasonable fee, the hunter spends a three-day weekend hunting some of the premier local family farms usually off limits to outsiders. They provide three nights of authentic southern cooking and hospitality and great Southern Backwoods tradition. Kevin and his father Gerrod make this an annual father-son hunt. Over the years they have made some really great family memories and life long friends.
Kevin has a close encounters with a mature South Georgia buck and a nasty old boar hog that didn’t go to well for them. Michael also has a monster buck within bow range as the guys try to seal the deal in the South!
Backwoods Life – TV air times are: Sportsman Channel – Sundays 11:00 a.m., Tuesday 2:30 p.m., Wednesday 6:00 a.m.; and Wild TV –Monday 8pm, Tuesday 5:30pm, Friday 2:30pm and Sunday 11:30pm
