I am a die hard gear-head with a serious addiction to boats and cars. I spent 10 years boating in the 1,000 Islands of Upstate New York, and currently reside in the Chicagoland area, spending as much time as I can on the area waterways. If it's a nice day, I can't think of a better way to spend it than on a boat.

When I am not out on a boat, I am trying to bludgeon my car's rev limiter (and tires) into a puree. I also enjoy amateur racing (SCCA and club track days) and very obscure vehicles. I actually bought and modified a Dodge Caravan once, but my friends finally staged an intervention.

My wife frequently worries about my mental health.
