How To Create a Bass Fishing Structure

A proper bass fishing structure is really important for any size lake or pond. Today there are countless things you can buy to create structure, but one tip I can tell you that has worked for me over the years is controlled lily pads, hay bales and cut trees.
If you can do it inexpensively, hay bales make for some great structure and bedding areas. Make sure you use round bales of straw if possible. Even with cut trees be sure to anchor then with rope and a rock. This will ensure your structure doesn’t move. The last step is to mark your new structure on your GPS; otherwise you may fish the wrong spot when the water level rises.
