Single Fly Tournament to Benefit a Watershed

Yup you read that right this is the 2nd Annual Single Fly Tournament. How it works is really simple; pick a fly and use it til you lose it. The angler with the most fish caught on ONE FLY wins!

Prizes include fly rods, reels, gear. gift certificates and more. All proceeds benefit the Huron River Watershed Council’s water quality programs for the Huron River.

To enter the tournament is only $50 all of which goes to work in the Huron River watershed. There is also a Pre-Party and Silent Auction at Jolly Pumpkin for only $20 which includes food and 2 drinks Jolly Pumpkin Cafe & Brewer is located 311 S Main St Ann Arbor, MI 48104. The pre-party starts at 5:30pm on June 24th. The single fly tournament starts with a 10am check in and fishing starts at 11am and all anglers need to be back in by 6pm. Post tournament food and drinks will  be served at 4PM with awards and prizes to follow at 6:30PM. Registration is limited and ends on June 21, 2010
