St. Vrain State Park Teaches Wildlife Tracks and Signs

FIRESTONE, Colo. – Join St. Vrain State Park for an evening of environmental sleuthing. Here at St. Vrain, there are many different animals that leave behind evidence of their existence. Learn how to identify wildlife by what they leave behind with our “Tracks & Signs” program on Friday, June 24 at 6 p.m.
Participants should meet at the Camper Services Building near Mallard Pond. The event is free, but all visitors must purchase a parks pass before entering the park. All ages and abilities are welcome. Visitors are asked to please dress in weather-appropriate clothing and to bring plenty of bug spray, sunscreen and water. Visitors should be prepared to spend about an hour walking on an easy to moderate hiking trail outside.
