Hornady Makes Contribution to MGM Jr. Camp

MGM Targets has announced a very generous contribution by Hornady Manufacturing Co to the MGM Targets Junior Shooter Camp by donating over 12,000 rounds of rifle ammunition. The 2011 rendition of the Junior Shooter Camp will be held at the Parma Rod and Gun Club in Parma, ID July 22-24.

“We are delighted that Hornady has provided this lavish gift to us. It means so much to us and the junior shooters who will be benefitting from this donation,” stated Mike Gibson, President of MGM Targets. “They are a wonderful supporter of the sport and have been for many years. This just proves once again what a great company they are”, Gibson continued.

Hornady is located in Grand Island, NE where they maintain a 200 yard underground testing facility. They are the largest independent producer of bullets in the world. With a distribution network supported by over 70 independent sales representatives, Hornady has remained one of the top producers of ammunition over many decades of service to the industry.

Having a company with the pedigree of Hornady contribute to the camp has been a huge help. Rhonda Gibson spends 100’s of hours every year organizing, planning, and gathering support such as Hornady is providing. This year’s camp will have a number of nationally recognized instructors that include Phil Strader, Max Michel, Randi Rogers, B.J. Norris, Matt Burkett, Ted Puente and Manny Bragg. The camp will be held one week after the MGM Targets Grand Nationals Man on Man Shoot Off.
