Knife Rights Facebook Page Launched

July 13, 2011, Gilbert, AZ — In an effort to garner broader support and raise awareness of Knife Rights and the very real threats knife owners face, Knife Rights has launched a Knife Rights Facebook page.
Doug Ritter, Chairman of Knife Rights, said, “the greater our reach, the more supporters we gain, the more success we will have in achieving a Sharper Future™ for all Americans. Social media such as Facebook has been proven an effective way to get the word out and will join Twitter in our social media outreach efforts.”
Ritter encouraged supporters to help spread the word, starting by going to the new Knife Rights Facebook page at: www.facebook.com/KnifeRights and then clicking the “Like” button at the top of the page. Supporters can also post comments on the Knife Rights Wall.
Ritter also announced that a Fundly social fundraising donation link has been incorporated on the new Knife Rights Facebook page. Fundly allows donors to multiply the value of their donation to Knife Rights Foundation through social media such as Facebook and Twitter.
By also “donating” an update to a donor’s Facebook and/or Twitter pages via Fundly, the donor will encourage their friends to join them in supporting Knife Rights. Donors whose efforts lead to additional contributions will gain Knife Rights awards they can post on their personal Facebook page.
