OR Summer Market Mobile App
Available for immediate download, the latest Outdoor Retailer Summer Market 2011 mobile app is an on-the-go tool for accessing show appointments, events, seminars, industry buzz and connections made at the show.

Now fully compatible with the OR Online Show Planner, the interactive maps and locator function help to efficiently navigate the tradeshow floor and stay up-to-date on show events, notices and announcements with the alerts function and integrated Twitter feature. OR mobile app versions for AppleiOS devices, Blackberry and Google Android are native applications that don’t require internet connectivity or a constant cellphone signal. However, to activate the locator function, phone Wi-Fi settings must be enabled.

OR Online Show Planner
Now fully compatible with the OR Summer Market mobile app, the OR Online Show Planner includes interactive floor maps, a dynamic exhibitor directory, complete with enhanced exhibitor profiles, product information, images and video, along with the show Seminar and Event Schedules. Once logged into the password-protected features, attendees can access a detailed show planner and be matched with exhibitors offering products of interest to them. The Online Show Planner can feed appointments to the attendee’s mobile device through the OR Summer Market Mobile App and is fully compatible with Microsoft Outlook and other calendar features.

OR Planning Guide, powered by SNEWS®
Through an ongoing partnership with SNEWS, the Outdoor Retailer Planning Guidepreviews industry trends and products on display at the Summer Market show, in a digital magazine format. Complete with full articles, vibrant photography and live links, the Planning Guide is available in an easy-to-read, downloadable and print-friendly format. OR Hub
Outdoor Retailer Hub, a new online service from Outdoor Retailer, brings brands and retailers together in a virtual platform of brand microsites that can be used year-round for everything from product development and launches to placing and managing orders. This b2b digital platform takes advantage of the single login Online Show Planner platform, simplifying business for retailers and brands.

The OR Hub allows brands to create a protected virtual portal outside of their consumer-centric site to showcase product launches, marketing and sales programs, integrate with existing back-end ERP systems, and advance the selling process with independent reps and retailers. A range of access permissions allows brands to customize who is able to view their HUB microsites.

A beta version of the OR Hub is currently live at www.outdoorretailerhub.com.  Attendees can look forward to new Hub microsites in the coming weeks from brands like Teva, Birkenstock, Ambler, Stanley, Sundesa, Green Label Organics, Fluid Kayaks and Sciessent among others.
