With the launch of its Paid Media division, Verde has hired Matt Smith as the agency’s new Chief Technology Officer and Director of Paid Media. Smith, who will be based in Durango, Colo., brings a decade of core market, technology-based communications and search engine experience to Verde. Smith holds an MBA with an IT emphasis from Colorado State University, Fort Collins. Additionally, Smith founded and sold an online bicycle retail storefront, Bikeparts.com. With his hire, Verde is now a Google Certified AdWords Agency Partner.
