Special ADWA Youth Hunt Airs on TNT Outdoor Explosion

AUSTIN, Texas — Recently, the American Deer & Wildlife Alliance® (ADWA) teamed up with outdoor television host Todd Cast and Cast of Dreams to fulfill the wishes of 13-year-old Jonathan Beach, a cystic fibrosis patient who’s big dream was to hunt. The story of that very special event airs next week on TNT Outdoor Explosion, and ADWA urges all sportsmen to watch.
TNT Outdoor Explosion will air on The Pursuit Channel (DirecTV 608, Dish 240), Monday at 10:30 p.m.; Thursday at 6 p.m.; and Sunday at 9:30 a.m. All times are CST.
“There are times and situations in life that require no thought, No debate. No questions. You just do. And, when we heard about Jonathan’s situation and lifelong wish to hunt, I knew this was one of those times,” says John Meng, president of the American Deer & Wildlife Alliance. “Jonathan has endured more hardship and heartache at 13 than many of us deal with in a lifetime so it was a great privilege and honor for us to help coordinate this hunt. There are sportsmen all around this country who, like Todd, selflessly give their time and resources to help make others’ dreams come true and this is a story that needs to be seen and shared.”
Jonathan’s hunt features the Whitetail Junction Ranch in Junction, Texas, a scenic 3,000-acre ranch in the Texas Hill Country owned by Jim and Annie Shrieve. The ranch employs an intensive management and feeding program that has produced an impressive variety of exotics plus great whitetail deer with antlers of excellent tine length and mass.
TNT Outdoor Explosion is a high-energy, reality-based outdoor show, founded by Todd Cast, that covers multiple continents and many different game species. With more than 30 years of in-the-field experience, Cast has developed a strong reputation and following in the outdoor television industry.
