Aquateko Makes Its Mark on the World

Ponte Verda Beach, Fla. – When it comes to recognition in the fishing industry, innovation has no geographic boundaries. This premise was again substantiated when Aquateko President Keith Kessler took his prodigy Knot2Kinky and InvisaSwivel brands on the road, or rather, on an airliner destined for the European Fishing Tackle Trade Association (EFFTEX) 2011 show in Amsterdam, Netherlands this past July.
This was Kessler’s first trip around the international base-paths, so to speak. Not that Aquateko was void of international distribution, but rather it was the first time Kessler had showcased Knot2Kinky and InvisaSwivel to a worldwide trade audience. “Knot2Kinky and InvisaSwivel already had established international distribution and followings amongst anglers across the pond. EFFTEX, however, gave me the platform to expose even more people to Aquateko’s unique and universally applicable product offerings.
The intimate contact with the Knot2Kinky and InvisaSwivel brands reaped instant rewards for Kessler as well. “Literally, while at the show, we arranged distribution with representatives from 10 different countries, including Sweden, Russia, Israel and Latvia. This on top of the presence we already have across Europe, even South Africa.”
Speaking of Latvia, Denis Gudeyev, Sales Director of SIA “GARDS,” a distributor has this to say. “The Aquateko product line is perfect for Latvia. We intend to use the products for pike and perch. The shared elastic and firm properties of the Knot2Kinky leader material will prevent plastic lures from catching the line with the hook, which is quite irritating. This will solve the problem.”
Of especially grand interest to the global audience were the new Nuclear Chartreuse and Bloody Red InvisaSwivels. The annual international show became the stage for auditioning the trick terminal tackle. “I could see minds churning when show attendees held and marveled at the new colored swivels,” said Kessler. “They quickly came up with all sorts of applications, from fly fishing to bank fishing for carp and pike.”
All new packaging was unveiled at EFFTEX as well. The eye-catching, resealable bags clearly reveal what’s inside, as well as acutely describe the product and how to use it. The new packaging will soon appear at retailers across North America.
