Maine Governor LePage Presented with New Hunting Booklet

AUGUSTA,Maine– Commissioner Chandler Woodcock, on behalf of the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, presented Governor Paul LePage with a copy of the new Maine Hunting and Trapping Booklet Wednesday morning in the Governor’s office.
The booklet features a fresh new look, one that highlights Maine’s hunting and trapping heritage and the management work of Maine’s nationally-recognized wildlife biologists. Even in adding the quality of full-color photographs, informative articles about hunting and trapping in Maine, and the laws and regulations for safe and successful outdoor recreation, the publication of the booklet came at a significant cost-saving for MDIF&W.
The new booklet also features a user-friendly online experience. The entire booklet is available at http://www.eregulations.com/maine/hunting/ and can be searched page by page or downloaded in its entirety.
