Dish Network to Offer Free Preview of Sportsman Channel and Sportman HD During Hunting Season

New Berlin, WI – Oct. 5, 2011 – Sportsman Channel, the leader in outdoor TV for the American Sportsman, announced today that it will be available to DISH Network customers as a free preview starting now, Oct. 4 – Nov. 3, 2011. The preview will be available on DISH Network’s channel 395. Customers should visit dish.com/preview for more information.

The free preview will provide DISH Network subscribers access to Sportsman Channel’s programming including more than 50 shows premiering the week of Oct. 3. Branded as The Rise of the American Sportsman, this is the season for the American Sportsman to get out and enjoy their pursuits.  Sportsman Channel has the most authoritative personalities with new seasons of Personal Defense TV, Arrow Affliction and Fly Fishing the World with new host Conway Bowman.

Also premiering during Rise of the American Sportsman is conservation leader Beau Turner, son of media legend Ted Turner, in his TV debut with Beau Knows Outdoors on Oct. 6. This new series is dedicated to Beau’s lifelong mission of conservation and youth recruitment.
