Product Architects, Inc., maker of the Polar Bottle®, has partnered with the Team Tony Foundation to raise money to support the foundation’s mission of helping cancer survivors.
As part of the partnership, Polar Bottle donated water bottles for Team Tony’s CYCLE OF LIFE fundraising ride, which takes place October 8-9 in Lakewood Ranch, Florida.
In addition, Polar Bottle has designed a custom bottle for Team Tony and plans to donate 25 percent of the bottle’s sales to the Team Tony Foundation.
The patented Polar Bottle was the original insulated water bottle when it debuted in 1994. It features an insulating layer between two walls of plastic, so it keeps liquids cool twice as long as other water bottles. In 2010, the company redesigned the Polar Bottle with thinner plastic, making it easier to grab and squeeze. It is available in two sizes—20 and 24 ounce—and in more than 30 graphic styles.
“It’s important to us to give back to the community,” said Judy Amabile, president of Product Architects. “We regularly donate our bottles to charitable causes and special events. We’re pleased to support Team Tony’s efforts to help cancer survivors.”
The Polar Bottle fits standard bike water bottle cages and features a convenient, removable carrying strap. It is produced in the U.S. and is BPA- and phthalate-free.
The Team Tony bottle is one of several limited edition bottles that Polar Bottle sells on its website. Visit www.polarbottle.com.
About Product Architects, Inc.
Product Architects, Inc.—a woman-owned company headquartered in Boulder, Colorado—invented Polar Bottle, a leading brand of insulated sports water bottles. Avid cyclists Robert Heiberger and Judy Amabile founded the company in 1994 out of a desire to create a bottle that would keep liquids cool. Combining Robert’s mechanical engineering background and Judy’s business acumen, the duo created the Polar Bottle, which is now sold in more than 30 countries. In 2010, the company expanded its offerings with a line of stainless steel and plastic bottles that feature a revolutionary lid technology called the Half Twist™ cap. The Polar Bottle is BPA- and phthalate-free. For more information, visit www.polarbottle.com.
