Wild Coho Salmon Season Closes on Oregon’s Coquille River

October 10, 2011 Charleston, Ore. – The wild coho salmon season on the Coquille River will close at the end of the day Tuesday, Oct. 11. According to ODFW fish biologists the wild adult coho quota of 825 fish for the river is projected to be met by that time.

The river will remain open to chinook salmon and adipose fin-clipped coho salmon under permanent regulations.
