GoHUNTn and Pheasants Forever Partner for First-Ever Pheasant Week

GoHUNTn (www.gohuntn.com), “where hunters connect,” will launch its first-ever Pheasant Week, running from Thursday, October 13, through Monday, October 24, presented by Pheasants Forever.
“Pheasants are perhaps the most popular upland game bird, and without Pheasants Forever, hunters would not have the opportunities to hunt these birds,” said Ned Desmond, president of GoSportn, Inc., the parent company of GoHUNTn. “As many pheasant seasons kick off on October 15, we’re eager to partner with Pheasants Forever to celebrate these birds and the hunters that pursue them.”
With more than 130,000 members across the United States and Canada, Pheasants Forever is the nation’s largest upland conservation organization. “More than 90 percent of these members are hunters who recognize that to participate in the sport they love, they have to conserve upland habitat to make it all possible. And with many states’ pheasant hunting seasons opening this October, it’s the perfect time to hold a week with GoHUNTn devoted entirely to ringnecks,” said Anthony Hauck, Pheasants Forever’s Online Editor.
In addition to informative content about pheasant hunting and habitat, Pheasant Week will feature daily and weekly prizes on GoHUNTn.com. The Grand Prize winner who contributes the most to GoHUNTn during the week will win a $50 Cabela’s gift card and a Pheasants Forever prize pack (Pheasants Forever hat, shirt and dog collar). There will also be a photo contest and daily quizzes throughout the week.
