Colorado State Muzzle Loading Association to host Silhouette Shoot Oct. 23

The Colorado State Muzzle Loading Association will host a Muzzle Loading Silhouette Shoot at Golden Gun Club in Watkins CO on Sunday, October 23rd, 2011. Organizer Mike Lee is looking to encourage shooters, novice and experienced to come and participate in this event.
“We hope to bring out as many novice and youth shooters as possible for this event. New youth and adult shooters need not be concerned if they lack experience in shooting black powder or shooting of any kind,” said Lee. “We will have an area set aside to introduce new shooters to the aspects of safety and the loading, managing and shooting a black powder rifle. We will also have rifles on hand for shooters to use in the event they do not own a rifle. If attendees own a rifle but do not have shooting supplies, they are encouraged to bring their rifle and we will provide the necessary.”
