O.F. Mossberg & Sons, Inc. is pleased to announce the hire of industry veteran, Pete Angle, as Director of Marketing, effective April 12, 2012.  With over 17 years of marketing experience within the industry, Angle brings his broad-based business acumen and extensive network of contacts to the Mossberg team.  In this newly created role, Angle will be responsible for developing and implementing the company’s consumer marketing and brand strategies including creative, promotions and eMarketing initiatives.

Angle previously served as Senior Marketing Manager for Under Armour where he was instrumental in driving brand awareness in the Hunt/Fish Division and served as Director of Marketing for Hunter’s Specialties where he was responsible for rebranding their creative assets, leading a multi-channel marketing campaign and coordinating the company’s sales and marketing strategies. Angle also brings extensive media experience from his earlier tenure at NRA Publications.

“Pete brings a tremendous breadth of industry and brand marketing knowledge that will continue to drive Mossberg’s overall marketing and communication strategies to a higher level,” commented Tom Taylor, Mossberg’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing.  “His passion for the outdoors as well as his early experience as an Operations Manager for a sporting goods store gives Pete an advantage in understanding Mossberg’s core customer.  We look forward to Pete joining our team.”
