In a move to strengthen and better align its sales force to achieve broader strategic initiatives, Igloo Products Corp today announced that David D’Auteuil will be Vice President of New Business Development and Terri Brooks will be Vice President of Strategic Accounts. Both positions are newly created to support Igloo’s growth and channel diversification strategies. The announcement was made by Tony Carfagno, Igloo Executive Vice President of Global Sales. 

According to Carfagno, the sales team has made some significant strides during the past three years. These moves, he said, will accelerate the momentum achieved from a host of new products and aggressive marketing. “The key to success in any sales organization is having the right people in the right jobs. We are fortunate to have this duo of talented sales professionals who have just the right skill sets in each of their respective areas to take us to the next level. We’re optimistic that this team will support more rapid growth as Igloo continues to expand beyond its traditional markets into new territory.”

David D’Auteuil joins Igloo as its Vice President of New Business Development, responsible for driving Igloo’s expansion into new channels and points of distribution. In addition to his overall responsibilities, he will focus on the Yukon Cold Locker and Duo Soft Side cooler lines, and will drive Igloo’s penetration of its new Igloo Outdoor category, including tents, shelters and furniture.  D’Auteuil has had extensive experience in these areas at The Coleman Company, Confluence Watersports, Johnson Outdoors, and, most recently, at GSC Technology Products.  He will have direct responsibility for Igloo’s specialty business, including Bass Pro, Cabelas, Henry’s Tackle, Brunswick Boat Group, and BJ’s Wholesale Club, as well as other marine and sporting goods accounts.  David, an avid hunter and fisherman, will be based in New Hampshire.                                                       

Terri Brooks has joined Igloo as the Vice President of Strategic Accounts. She will strengthen business with Igloo’s strategic accounts, including Walmart, Sam’s Club, Kmart, Ace, and Walgreens, as well as other key accounts.  Brooks’ experience includes 18-years with The Coleman Company in a variety of sales management positions, the most recent being Senior Vice President of National Accounts.  She has extensive selling experience in many of the product lines currently marketed by Igloo, as well as some upcoming category expansions. While at the Coleman Company, she had broad experience with Walmart management.  Brooks will be based in Bentonville, Arkansas.
