Encore’s Fremont Jellystone Park and Camp Resort to Host White Bass Fishing Tournament May 5

Encore’s Fremont Jellystone Park and Camp Resort will host its annual White Bass Round-Up May 5, 2012. Open to registered guests only, the fishing tournament will award prizes for first, second and third place. Door prizes will be awarded to all registered anglers.
The tournament will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Following weigh-ins, prizes will be awarded to the top three anglers with the greatest total weight from their five largest white bass. There is no entry fee to participate.
This great Wisconsin resort is situated on the banks of Partridge Lake, a scenic lake that has 990 acres of shallow and reedy water full of bluegill, perch, largemouth bass, northern pike, smallmouth bass, catfish, and walleye. The Wolf River Flowage, famous for walleye and white bass, is just a mile downstream.
Live bait, tackle and fishing licenses are available from the bait and tackle store. The marina offers kayak, canoe, paddleboat, johnboat and pontoon boat rentals. On-site boat ramps and boat slip rentals give lake access for personal boats.
